Nearing the Finish (of the halfway mark)!

I am halfway done with college. Let’s just think about this: half. way.

Well… besides my Chinese recording that I haven’t turned in yet. It’ll get done;) I have until Tuesday! As in tomorrow lol…

So much has happened this past week that I am just going to give you a visual of the highlights. I honestly could’t even remember everything that I’ve done. I had to go back through my pictures.

I will begin with last weekend, in which I went for my first “long” run of the semester (a couple miles).

This is a picture of me on the green next to Lulu after my run.

One of the best creeper snap chats I’ve ever received.

On Monday, I had a final get together with my res life team. We had pizza and enjoyed each others company one last time. So sad:( I’ve loved working with everyone so much.

That night, I also had my final team dinner. We ordered fancy Mexican food (and devoured it). We also got to watch a hilarious slideshow of funny pictures of our team throughout the season. We have a lot of fun together lol.

I received the final Athlete of the Week award (a baton that each award winner signs) before it was presented to one of our seniors as the Athlete of the Season Award.

Posing with my award;)

Tuesday morning after practice, I went out to breakfast with the sprint team. We always go to this awesome little place in the vil. I always get homemade greek yogurt with fresh fruit and a grilled cornbread muffin. SOOOOO GOOOOD.

On Wednesday, I went into Boston with friends from my dorm. We had dinner at The Border Cafe in Harvard Square. Then we wandered around for a while and enjoyed the city at night.

Ridin’ the T like pros;)

I just realized that I am making college sound like so much eating. I would say that that is fairly accurate, however the fun outings are multiplied at the end of the year when you need to have a last gathering with everyone you won’t be seeing until the following year!!!! (Especially when you’re going abroad:(:(  )

I couldn’t have had a better end to the week than this though:

I went with the team to ECAC’s, on Thursday and Friday, where we crushed our 4X4 record!!

Friday night, we came back ecstatic from an awesome pre-weekend together. To celebrate we hung out and studied with one of the team in the print studio while she worked on her final project. Then we did a late night victory lap around the track:)

In the print studio, this was hanging up:

Kendra (our teammate) said her classmate made this in their print making class. It says “I lived with the sleepwalker and all I got were these stupid underpants.” I love it.

With everything going on, I’ve barely had time to breath. But I’ve learned that that’s the way I like life to be. Too busy to sweat the small stuff. As I get ready to return home (to the slower side of life) I am appreciating all the things I have to do here at Wellesley, both for work and for play. I’m truly going to miss the life I’ve made here this year.

When we returned to campus after our meet, even in the dreary rain I was so happy to be back. It was that feeling you only get when you know you’re home. And I know that Wellesley will always be home.
