Snow Days and Presidents Days! (What is school?)

Hey all!

What a crazy few weeks we’ve had with all these snow days and holidays. This past Monday we didn’t have class again because of President’s Day! It’s going to be spring break before we’ve had any class! (Just kidding, we’ve had plenty of class.) To celebrate the snow day and a teammates birthday, we baked a fancy gluten free white cake from whole foods. We decorated it with strawberries and it was practically gourmet;) So yes, the third snow day was definitely a success.

SO MUCH SNOW!

This past weekend was really fun. It felt especially long because our meet was on Friday instead of Saturday so we had Saturday off. I enjoyed my Valentine’s Day by being productive:) Studying for Chinese was my valentine this year. <3 #lovemymajor I also went to a basketball game to support the Blue. (“BLUE OR DIE!” is our team’s new unofficial motto.) And there was a party in the KSC (Keohane Sport’s Center) to celebrate the official opening of the field house, which is beautiful and amazing!

Then on Sunday I went out to brunch with the sprint team which has become an annual event. We go to this cozy little restaurant in the vil called Maugus. I always get Greek yogurt with fruit:) It’s ammaazziiing!

This week has gotten off to a good start. I had an interview with CWS (center for work and service) for an internship in Beijing this summer. *fingers crossed* We’ll see how that goes!

I’m continuing the vibe of a happy chill semester. Things are going well. I hope all of you can say the same!

Over and out!
