Spring has sprung and Track has begun! ;)

I know this is counterintuitive to the whole getting in shape for track thing… but I just had a cream cheese brownie and it was possibly the most delicious thing I have ever eaten… *Hallelujah Chorus* (I recommend you taste test some desserts if you come to visit. Truly, that should be number one on your college check list.)

Anyway! Getting back to track: I have started attending regular practices now and I’m so excited!!! And so sore. The other night I woke up around 1am, rolled over, and my entire body creaked. I swear. But its a good sore, if that’s not too masochistic to say. I feel good:) And I feel like I have purpose again. I need athletic goals to keep me focused. Otherwise I sort of lose track of what’s important in my life. (Lose track… Hehe:) Get it?)

In other news, there are only three weeks until Spring Break… things to look forward to: sitting on my couch doing Chinese Homework, and reading Game of Thrones!!! <– Truly if that’s not the best week ever then I dunno! (Oh and running, of course;) )

Oh, and one more thing. The vacuum cleaner on my hall went missing this semester so our dorm room floor got pretty gross. (I should have taken before and after pictures… Maybe its best I didn’t, actually lol.) So this past weekend I decided that I was very tired of looking at my distressed carpet. So I went on a vacuum cleaner hunt. I searched every hall closet in Tower East and West all the way up to the 6th floor! And in the very last closet, in 6 West, I found a vacuum cleaner hidden behind a sink. And I gleefully skipped all the way back down to my floor, 2 West, with my prize. And my roommates praised my awesomeness, and then we vacuumed. Happily ever after, the end:)

Hehe, that’s a pretty good snapshot of my life, I’d say. I got to explore Tower which was pretty fun. Sometimes its nice to just walk around someplace you’ve never really payed attention to before. (You should all do this before you leave home for college! I didn’t realize how wonderful my hometown is until I was six hours away!)

I will keep you all updated about track and life! (Obviously, that’s my job;) )

Oh! P.S. I had an interview for being an RA yesterday which I thought went pretty well. Keepin my fingers crossed! Here’s a picture of my interview outfit;)
