Hello hello! Greetings from California~!
I am so so so happy to be home where it’s green and warm and the skies are blue and I can drive my car and can eat yummy food and see old friends and ahhh ❤️
Also, “Shut Up and Dance” is my current choice of song-on-replay. (:
Yesterday, my first full day home, I was just playing around in my backyard and basking in the beauty that is California: fruit trees in my backyard (lemon, peach, orange, pear, plum, cherry, persimmon, grape), green lawns, and FLOWERS! SO. MANY. FLOWERS. In a spurt of inspiration, I became a self-proclaimed florist/flower arranger. Behold my creations: (I think they’re pretty good – if I may say so myself!)
And these were all picked from our front/back yards! God I love California.
And I’m eating such yummy food! Mom and I got Shabu Shabu the same day I flew back, and later that night she brought out all the goodies she’d brought from China. 😀 She went to visit her parents over Chinese New Year and actually just got back home 1 day before I did. Such yummy authentic treats I’ve missed so much! Behold:
And right now I’m just relaxing in my room enjoying the sunlight that’s filtering in through my bay windows. I can smell the food my mom’s cooking downstairs and can’t wait for dinner! I am such so genuinely, utterly, completely happy right now.
