What do you do when you have a deep seated interest in Political Science and Peace and Conflict studies? You go to Ireland to study the Northern Ireland Conflict!!!!
….Or you can be like me and decide that perhaps going on a 3-month Outdoor Leadership Course to Australia as an abroad experience might be the best thing for you. I figure that, you know, experiential learning is the best kind of learning…but also, the beach! But also, learning first aid! And the leadership skills that I will learn there are invaluable, right? RIGHT!
Either way, Wellesley is awesome in this respect. Since our financial aid transfers over to their approved programs (including programs we have established with other U.S. universities as well as CIEE), this makes studying abroad an economically feasible, oftentimes mind and life-changing opportunity for many Wellesley students.
