Dimsum and Sisterhood Love

Can’t believe it’s already October. Just finished my first week of midterms! So on some exciting news, I just found out that I was accepted to speak at Tanner!! Wellesley has an amazing conference every year called Tanner where students are invited to speak about their summer experiences and internships. I’m speaking about a cultural exploration photography project that I did last semester, where I used photography to explore the cultures of Asian girls who are adopted into Caucasian families. It was an amazing experience, and I can’t wait to present in November!

Anyway this week– We just welcomed our new members into ZA. One of my best friends, Laura, is now a part of ZA, so I’m super excited! We also had another sisterhood event this week. Katie and I organized a movie and pizza night, a very bro-esque type night watching Bridesmaids, which was absolutely hilarious. It was sooo good to be chilling in the house after finishing my first midterm + while it was pouring rain outside.

Friday night–ate sushi in Harvard Square with my friend, Erin. We visited my brother, Chris, briefly at his dorm before going to hang with her friend, Sam, who showed us the quad dorms. Pretty chill night overall.

Next day, went to Chinatown with Laura and our friend, Jackson, to eat some delicious dimsum! I was sad Justin couldn’t join us, but Laura and I ended up heading over to his apartment near Fenway afterwards and dropped him off some bubble tea and dimsum leftovers. BUT the good news is that he’s coming with Laura, me, and now, our other friend, Emma, to New York for Fall Break! I’m so excited!! It’s also going to be Cassie’s birthday that weekend, so the festivities are going to be spectacular! Here’s also some funny pictures from my adventures in Chinatown for my Mix and Match app:

As you can see, they make a message. My app is a variation of 15 different phrases featuring 4 of my other friends (I’m in that last one hah!)

JUST TWO MORE DAYS TILL NEW YORK!!!!!!!
