Grease Lightning, Shoulder Stands, and Tea Parties

Hello all!! Been a couple of busy days even though this is only my second week back! Besides classes, I also started my first PE class here, Continuing Yoga, with Laura, and I must admit—it’s a lot tougher than I had expected! But I’m pretty excited because I successfully did my first half shoulder stand and what I will now dub as a ¾ shoulder stand. I hope to do a full shoulder stand soon though!

So this week ZA also kickstarted its tea season with our Open House this past Tuesday and our first tea on Thursday (the theme was Wild Wild West!). Here’s a picture of Laura getting ready for Open House and blowing up blue and silver balloons to represent the colors of Zeta Alpha!

We also had our first mixer of the semester with Theta Chi at Babson this Friday. This was actually my first time at Babson, so I was pretty stoked. Our social chairs, Nicole and Laura, did an amaaaazing job with it! Here’s a picture of some of us in the house before heading out to the mixer. The theme was Grease!

Next week, we’re hosting our last 2 teas and then having our applicant party! I can’t yet tell you all the theme of the party, but I promise you, it’s good.

Before I part, here is an awesome video I just saw about Wellesley. The girl doing the front handsprings at the beginning is the wonderful Julie, who is also a part of ZA! I’d really encourage you to watch this—it captures so many things that I love about Wellesley! Click click click: A Must-Watch Video about Wellesley!!
