Ambiguous Seasons

100_0210 Fall has arrived – in form of winter!!! It snowed today…Snowed. It's October 17th. Now, I'm from Ohio so we're used to snow but not this early in the year. This clearly is not helping my weather interpretation impediment that I wrote about earlier.

Good news all around today: First of all, I got an A- on my political science paper!!! I'm not really sure how to express my excitement other than with copious amount of exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We also beat Endicott College today for the second time in the Wellesley Invitational! Tomorrow we play SUNY from New York. Endicott was a huge win for us because they beat some of the top teams in the region a few weeks ago. We've gained a ton of confidence lately so I have no doubt we can win NEWMACs (our conference).

Our team just finished watching Pocahontas. I found the movie pretty hilarious, considering we just learned about the actual Pocahontas in my American Studies class. I think the most historical aspect of that entire movie was the fact that they named her Pocahontas. Other than that, I'm going to go ahead and say Walt Disney failed history class. (By the way – how lame is it that they decided to make Pocahontas 2 somewhat historically accurate by introducing John Rolfe?!)

I decided I need curtains in my dorm room. I think it will just spice up the atmosphere a little…maybe insulate a little during winter/fall (since you cannot tell the difference here). I have no idea what I want. Comments encouraged.

I am really thankful that I only have ONE midterm! My friends have been slaving over their work all week. Granted I have been slaving over homework, but I think studying for midterms is a little more intense. I'm still nervous about my solitary midterm though. I can only imagine how they are dealing with four!

I will keep you updated as much as I can this week! So much work, so few curtains!!!

100_0226CURTAINS NEEDED!!!
