Ins & Outs

In:

1) The new Science Center Café

2) 50˚ weather – feels like its almost balmy enough for bikinis! Almost.

3) Wellesley women on the red carpet: Jennifer Redfearn '03 (Sun Come Up, nominated for an Oscar in the Short Subject Documentary category)

4) Wellesley varsity athletes

Leah Clement '12 and Randelle Boots '13 both posted NCAA Division III best times NATIONALLY this     past weekend at their BU track meet!! Their relay with Christina Lucas '13 and Camille Basurto     '13 also qualified for nationals provisionally.

Also, the NEWMAC conference finals this weekend for swimming/diving should be successful for the     Blue, who have won the Seven Sisters meet for the past 14 consecutive years. Blue Basketball has a     PINK for breast cancer research/awareness meet this week.

5) Leaving campus on the weekends/weeknights. It's good to get out!!

6) Family dinners. Here's my soccer family at Alta Strada in Wellesley. We even got Lolo White, class of 2010, to come back and eat with us!

7) New York Fashion Week

8)Rapidly spreading democratic revolution. Oh you know, just a minor addition to this list.

Out:

1) Falling asleep in 8:30 am biology (who does that, anyway?) now that we even have coffee IN THE SCIENCE CENTER

2) 0˚ F nights (I mean, I hope they're out). We couldn't even imagine leaving our warm and cozy rooms     for Econ Help Room during those dark days in January

3) bad singing films on youtube

4) Hibernation. Gotta exercise even in these tough winter months and try not to give in to ALL your chocolate cravings. Try = key word.

5) Writing your essay all day and night on Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday. NOT HEALTHY

6) Lance Armstrong (he's retiring for the 3rd, and final, time)

7) bulky winter coats…well, they will be "out" soonbut not quite yet, I guess 🙁

8) Hosni Mubarak
