Spring Break: T-Minus 7 Days.

[a winter. a frozen lake. my sister. 🙂 ]

First off, BC '10, here's a reply to your question about what the definition of 'likely' meant in terms of early eval and admission..

Ahh! I wish I knew! Honestly, I'm just a swells student, so I can't give a definitive answer on the implications. I know, I know, it's seriously frustrating not to get the answer, BUT I do have an alternative direction for you to turn: the admissions officials!

I find it interesting how we prospies saw the officials as such formidable, scary people with a huge deal of power in their pens. With a single check, they could see you through to a college education. I worked at admissions for the last two wintersessions, and let me tell you, these strong women are so welcoming and informative that I sure you not to be afraid to pick up the phone and call admissions at 781-283-2270. Seriously.

And in that thread, the lovely women that answer the phone? JUST as awesome. I would work at admissions all the time just so I could hang out with the people there! It's the truth! …And the random candy/muffins/cookies that frequent the office make the experience so much better. 🙂

So my main point in all this rambling is this: Our admissions officials are so helpful and open, so much so that I urge you to call in with any pertinent admissions questions. This wasn't asked of me to write; this is 100% genuine sentiment!

On another point, spring break hits Wellesley in one week. The excitement is building!! I can't wait to go home and spend time with my family…
