I Guess You’re Interested in Seeing My Room

(I’m going to confess to you, I didn’t know which words to capitalize in the title. Hopefully, I did it right.)

This week, I am going to show you bits of my room. I didn’t clean up when taking these photos, so this is my room in all of its glory. I like the way my room feels, I am hoping to add more paintings and general stuff, so I may do an updated room tour later on. (I felt like such a YouTuber while writing that last sentence).

It is very important that you feel comfortable in your room because it is going to become your home, your oasis and where you spend your day on snow days or days when you just want to stay in and watch a movie.

The image above is of my bed with my laptop on it. I have my Morty sticker and my Kendrick Lamar sticker on there. Two people that I love, although one is fictional. I also have the very real Frida Khalo. I have way more stickers of her that I have not put on my laptop yet.

That picture doesn’t do justice to the number of pillows I actually have on my bed. Including my New Jersey Pillow! (Pictured below).

I got this pillow at a Bed, Bath and Beyond in NJ, before I left for Wellesley.

Next is the tapestry that hangs over my head. Reminding me to ‘be Brave, be Bright, be Bold’. Honestly, when I first bought this, I thought it was a little cheesy, corny perhaps, but now I have grown to like it. (By the way: the fan was blowing it when I took this shot.

This is my closet door. I love this poster so much. I bought it last year at the annual sustainability sale. My mom says she would get nightmares if the chimp were in her bedroom. But what can I say, haters gon’ hate.
Also, purse on the closet door handle

That’s all for this week. I hope you liked it.  Also, I hate my phone camera because it does not fully display how glorious my room is.
