Welcome (ED1) 2025!

I remember at the start of term 1, in September, I was hyped and ready to tackle senior year. As I’m writing this on Sunday night, I’m feeling ready to close the chapter on the first half of my senior year. Endings are always a lot to process, and I think reflecting this time around will be harder than usual.

I’ll keep today’s post short and sweet. I heard whispers, but wasn’t sure until I saw the post on the Wellesley College admissions instagram account… Welcome to the newest members of Wellesley’s Green Class of 2025 from a member of the Green Class of 2021!

It blows my mind that “Green Class” will soon mean incoming first year students and not members of Class of 2021, but I am so excited for you all to join the Wellesley community. You probably already know Wellesley is a special place. Get ready to grow (side note: our orientation theme when we arrived in fall of 2017 was “stretch out loud!” my friends and I still talk about it to this day), meet incredible people, learn exciting things, and continue your journey. Take as many lake walks as you possibly can, don’t be afraid to try new things, and soak it all in once you arrive. I can tell you from experience, college zips by waaay too fast. There’s probably so much I could say right now that I’m forgetting, but it’s okay. I still have one semester left, so I’m sure I’ll think of new things as they come up.

In any case, 2025, you already have a special place in my heart.
