Re: Update #2 – Campus Safety Alert

The Wellesley College Police Department, working together with Wellesley Town Police, continues to increase patrols in response to reports of an unidentified white male seen looking into private spaces on campus, and has released a composite sketch of the suspect. If you have information on the suspect, or if you see any suspicious people, please contact Campus Police immediately at 781-283-5555 so that officers can respond.

On May 1, Campus Police responded immediately to a report of a male seen looking through a ground floor window into a private space of Davis Hall. Upon being noticed by the reporting person, the male fled the area before police arrived on the scene.

The following description was given:
White male / 20’s / Medium height and build / Short brown hair / Glasses / Wearing a jean jacket over a hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

  • Report any suspicious people to campus police
  • Campus Escorts are available
  • Do not let people into the residence halls unescorted
  • Blue light emergency phones are available across campus and connect directly to police
