For many years, the Charitable Giving Campaign has taken place in the fall, in preparation for calendar year deductions.  Two years ago, the cycle moved to a spring launch and fiscal year deductions. The College is in the process of returning to a fall campaign for two reasons.  It enables faculty and staff to have a deduction schedule that coincides with their tax year. It also enables us to process new deductions in the payroll system at a separate time from processing all of the July 1st salary raises.
The Charitable Giving Committee, President’s Office, HR and LTS are in the process of developing an efficient way to elect deductions/one time payments through the Workday system in an effort to provide an efficient way for faculty and staff to elect and track their contributions.
The Charitable Giving Committee will begin meeting in the fall and more information will be provided at the beginning of the academic year.  In the meantime, if you have deductions that have ended, or are scheduled to end in June and wish to continue them, please contact Melissa Fletcher at mfletcher@wellesley.edu.
