Dear Wellesley community,
We want to inform you about an unfortunate incident that occurred on our campus this morning. Shortly after 9 a.m., we received reports of a parked Wellesley College small electric vehicle that had rolled onto Munger Meadow and injured a child who was visiting the campus with his mother. Campus Police were notified and called an ambulance. The child was examined at the scene and then transported to Boston Children’s Hospital where he is being evaluated.
A full investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
