Monday, November 12 –

  • CWS Travel Grant & Habitat for Humanity Trip Application Deadlines | NOON Habitat for Humanity application details; CWS Travel Grant application details.
  • CWS First Year Workshop #1 | 12:30 pm – Prior registration required. Learn about upcoming CWS programs, internships, and resources!
  • Public Prep Information Session and Interview Workshop | 4:30 pm | PNE 137 – Come learn about the world of education in New York City! Experienced recruiters from Public Prep, a non-profit charter management group, will present about their schools and also take the time to help you with interview skills that will make you competitive when it’s time for you to look for a job.  Even if you’re not in education or still not sure, come check out what will help you stand out as a candidate!

Tuesday, November 13 –

  • Advanced Job Search: Social Media | 12:30 pm | Register on MyCWS  We will review how you can use social media to land that job or internship after graduation by becoming more proactive with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and other CWS tools. Pizza will be served!
  • BNPP Corporate Presentation | 6:30 pm | MIT Room 1-190 – This presentation will be specifically for the summer internship candidates in Fixed Income Sales/Structuring, Fixed Income Trading, and Equities Trading. Wellesley alumnae will be present at the event. (Building 1, 1st floor; location: http://whereis.mit.edu/)

Wednesday, November 14

  • Using the MBTI to Understand Career Planning | 4:30 pm – Prior registration required. Using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator can help you understand who you are and how you make career choices. Are you a reflective person who makes decisions based on your values? Are you a conceptual thinker who likes to plan your day? Or, are you a pragmatist who goes with the flow?  How does knowing this help you choose a potential career?
  • Bank of America Information Session | 6:30 pm | PNE 239 – This information session will cover the Global Banking & Markets Summer Analyst position.
  • Resume 101 Workshop | 7:00 pm | Register on MyCWS – Have questions about your resume? Format, Content, Selectivity? Learn how to write and edit your resume! Space is limited to 20 students.

Thursday, November 15

  • Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis Information Session | 12:30 pm | PNE 239 – Information will be provided about three short specialized graduate business programs offered at Olin.
  • How to Break into the Sports and Entertainment Industry Webinar | 1:00 pm | KSC Classroom – Learn how to set yourself apart as an athlete from other students in the sports & entertainment industry. Please RSVP to Mindy Mangels (mmangels@wellesley.edu).
  • Columbia Law School Information Session | 4:30 pm | PNE 239 – Join Jill Nussbaum, assistant director of admissions, to discuss applying to Columbia University School of Law.
  • The Morris K. Udall National Scholarship Information Session | 4:30 pm | CWS Library (Green Hall 442) – This scholarship is open to college sophomores or juniors either who study the environment and related fields or who are Native American or Alaskan Natives who plan to study in fields related to health care or tribal public policy.

  • W Network 101 Workshop | 7:30 pm | Register on MyCWS – Want to learn about the W Network? Want to learn how to talk to alums and make connections? Come learn the basics of using the W Network!

Friday, November 16 –

  • US Navy Medical School Scholarships and Information Session | 12:30 pm | PNW 212 – Jack Tsao, MD, Director, Traumatic Brain Injury Programs will discuss opportunities to serve your country as a US Navy physician. Information will be presented about the US Navy and Marine Corps medical mission and scholarships for medical school.
  • Marketing Your International Experience | 4:30 pm | CWS Library (Green Hall 442) – Specifically for study abroad students. In collaboration with the Office of International Studies.
  • Law School Mock Admission File Review Session | 4:30 pm | Register on MyCWS – Join four deans and directors of admission from Law Schools across the country to review a mock law school admission file. The program will include discussion and Q&A. Pizza will be served!

Monday, November 19 –
