Tuesday, November 19

  • Grad School Tuesdays | 12:15 pm-1:30 pm | Wang Campus Center, 2nd floor  The CWS will offer graduate school drop-ins on Tuesdays from 12:15-1:30pm on the second floor of the Wang Campus Center, east Entrance, on Tuesdays during the fall semester when classes are in session. In addition, up to two graduate schools may be visiting campus and will have a drop-in table next to the CWS counselor. Make sure to check MyCWS for the most up-to-date listing of which graduate schools are attending.
  • Advanced Workshop: Using social media in the job search | 4:30 pm-5:30 pm | CWS library (GRH 442) Join the CWS to learn how to use social media as part of your job/internship search strategy. We will review best practices on using LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook in a professional way. Space is limited to 25 students per workshop. Please make sure to RSVP!
  • Economic Consulting workshop presented by Cornerstone | 6:00-7:30 pm | PNE 339 Want to find out more about economic consulting?  Come to the Economic Consulting workshop presented by Cornerstone.  Information will also be presented about internship opportunities at Cornerstone. Wednesday, November 20

  • NYU Kevorkian Center Virtual Open House | 12:30 pm | Online – The Kevorkian Center will be hosting its inaugural virtual open house on Wednesday, November 20th, 2013 at 12:30pm. It’s geared toward educating potential applicants about the many opportunities for the study of the Middle East at the Kevorkian Center and NYU, and address any potential questions or concerns. Applicants can RSVP at arthur.starr@nyu.edu.
  • Berkeley Master of Financial Engineering Info Session | 3:00-4:00 pm | Online The Berkeley Master of Financial Engineering program invites you to join them online on November 20 to join executive director Linda Kreitzman, admissions staff, and current students for an information session and Q&A.  During the session, Linda Kreitzman will conduct on-the-spot resume reviews and let you know how to prepare for a career in finance.  You will also learn about admission to the Berkeley MFE, career paths in finance, and how they work with students to tailor their careers post-MFE.  For more information and to RSVP, visit http://mfe.berkeley.edu.

Friday, November 22

  • Women’s College Visit to Citi | 130-330 pm | 390 Greenwich St., New York City – Interested in learning more about Fixed Income, Equity or FX Sales and Trading? Come to the Women’s College Visit to Citi on Nov. 22nd! On the Women’s College Visit to Citi, you will have the opportunity to attend a panel discussion, ask all of your Sales and Trading related questions and learn about Citi’s summer S+T analyst rotational program. You will also have a chance to network with both senior and junior women in Sales and Trading at Citi. To finish off the day, you will tour the trading floors and see what makes that environment so exciting.  Please submit your resume through MyCWS Schedule 1020 to attend.
