Monday, December 3 –
- Stevens Traveling Fellowship Application Due | NOON – The Mary Elvira Stevens Traveling Fellowship is for travel or study outside the United States in order to benefit from the knowledge and understanding of a global education. Any scholarly, artistic, or cultural purpose may be considered. Candidates must be at least 25 years of age in the year of application.
Tuesday, December 4 –
- Hopkins-Nanjing Center for Chinese & American Studies Information Session | 12:30 pm | Register on MyCWS – Are you interested in Graduate Study in China? Come learn about the Hopkins-Nanjing Center. The Hopkins-Nanjing Center is the only graduate program of its kind-a collaborative effort jointly administered by The Johns-Hopkins University and Nanjing University.
- Tea with Terry Gibralter ’76 | 4:00 pm | Register on MyCWS – Interested in a career in advertising? Come have tea with Wellesley alumna Terry Lyn Gibralter ’76, Senior Vice President and Creative Director at Grey Group!
- Resume Basics Workshop | 7:30 pm | Register on MyCWS – Have questions about your resume? Format, Content, Selectivity? Learn how to write and edit your resume! Space is limited to 20 students.
Wednesday, December 5 –
- Katharine Timberman Wright (KTW) Award Application Due | NOON – The awards are for second semester projects that involve ten (10) or more students. The awards can be up to $750 depending on the design of the project and amount requested on the proposal.
- Eaton Vance Information Session | 4:30 pm | Register on MyCWS – Come and meet representatives from Eaton Vance and learn about the Natalie Bolton Fellowship opportunity for the summer.
- Humanity in Action Fellowship Program | 7:00 pm | Register on MyCWS – Join the CWS & Wellesley alumna Elizabeth Breese ’06 for an information session on an international human rights fellowship opportunity! Humanity in Action is now accepting applications for its international human rights fellowship programs in Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Lyon and Warsaw. Liz was a fellow in 2004.
- How to Find an Internship Workshop | 7:30 pm | Register on MyCWS – Learn the different programs and internships you can find through the CWS! Space is limited to 20 students.
Thursday, December 6 –
- Point Foundation Information Session | 7:00 pm | Green Hall 442 (CWS library) – Are you interested in learning about the Point Foundation application for 2013? Come and learn about the scholarship and hear from previous scholarship recipients about their experiences at Point Foundation Scholars.
- W Network 101 Workshop | 7:30 pm | Register on MyCWS – Want to learn about the W Network? Want to learn how to talk to alums and make connections? Come learn the basics of using the W Network! Space is limited to 20 students.
- NCAA Ethnic Minority and Women’s Enhancement Postgraduate Scholarship Application Due | 11:59 pm | Online –The NCAA awards 13 scholarships to ethnic minorities and 13 scholarships to women college graduates who will be entering their initial year of postgraduate studies. The one-time $6,000 scholarships are non-renewable grants awarded once per school year.
