blake desormeaux graduated from Wellesley in 2013 with a Cognitive & Linguistic Science major. They now work as a Community Strategist for Big Spaceship, a digital agency based in Brooklyn, New York. But what does a Community Strategist do? Says desormeaux, “My job is the internet and I love it. Part of what I do as a community strategist is stay aware of what my clients’ communities care about so that I can make tailored strategies for engaging with fans and keeping our brands human and approachable. Throughout the day, I look at what my clients’ fans are talking about, what trends they’re participating in and what news they’re focused on.”
