Tuesday, April 23 –
- Mashable’s Online Career Fair (West Coast companies) | 1:00 pm-4:00 pm | Online – Have you been searching for your dream job in the Northeast or West Coast? Do you fantasize about meeting recruiters from leading brands and chatting with them one-on-one? Then you should sign up for Mashable’s Online Career Expos, our unique virtual recruiting events that connect job seekers with employers seeking digital talent. - Latina Alumnae Panel | 6:00 pm | LLR – A diverse alumnae panel will be comprised of Latina women from different professional industries and a varying skill levels. The panelists will share the decisions they made and paths they took after graduating from Wellesley that were instrumental in helping them find jobs in their chosen field. Alums will reflect on their experiences when they were students at Wellesley and as Latina women in their respective fields. They will offer advice to current students that will help prepare them as they embark on their professional journeys in a highly competitive global marketplace.
Thursday, April 25 –
- Wellesley College/Teach For America Reception: Focus on STEM Education | 12:30 pm | RSVP on MyCWS – Join us to learn about Teach for America (TFA), STEM education, and to hear from Wellesley seniors who have been selected for TFA! Lunch will be served for those who RSVP.
- Health Careers Panel | 7:00 pm | RSVP on MyCWS – Interested in the health field? These alumnae will help you explore a variety of the options available for those interested in healthcare. Information on the alumnae attending is available in MyCWS.
Friday, April 26 –
- Athletic Administration Postgraduate Scholarship (Application Deadline) | NOON | Online – NACDA is pleased to offer, through the John McLendon Memorial Minority Scholarship Foundation, five (5) $10,000 postgraduate scholarships, to minority nominees who are planning to pursue a graduate degree in athletics administration. There are two options available – (1) for nominees who have graduated and have a minimum of two years experience in an athletics administration position; and (2) for nominees who are current full-time seniors. - Writing the Fellowship Essay with Ann Velenchik | 5:00 pm | PNE 239 – Fellowship essays will be in your future! Learn how to get started on essay topics from our writing expert and resident stand-up comedian.
Saturday, April 27 –
- Puerto Rican Student Conference 2013: Entrepreneurship in Puerto Rico | 9:00 am-5:00 pm | MIT – The purpose of this conference is: Demonstrate the potential Puerto Rico has for startups, and the possibility of Puerto Rico becoming a startup hub in the Caribbean and Latin America; Encourage and empower college students with knowledge they can use to start their own companies in Puerto Rico; Promote and further the network of Puerto Ricans eager to contribute to the island, particularly young students of the generation to be. Registration is required.
- The Art of Negotiation | 10:30 am | RSVP required – Presented by alumnae Megan Gates, Nicole Gardner, and Laila Partridge. Moderated by Karen Bratt. Coffee and pastries will be served. Co-sponsored by CWS, Wellesley Women in Business and the Business Leadership Council.
- Ed Tech Job Fair | 1:00 pm-4:00 pm | Boston University School of Communications – LearnLaunch, a non-profit that is helping to build the education technology ecosystem in Boston, has organized job fair for people seeking summer internships and/or full-time employment at education technology startups. Please RSVP to help them estimate how many people will be attending.

- Eichenthal Fellows Summer Internships | Application Deadline April 28 – The Eichenthal Fellows program provides paid 10-week summer internships for motivated undergraduate students interested in a career in public service. The program provides internship experiences in Chattanooga, TN and Brooklyn, NY. Open to rising college juniors or seniors with a demonstrated interest in policy, government, nonprofit or advocacy work.
