Wednesday, October 15 –
- CWS Quick Fix Grant Deadline | NOON | MyCWS – Quick Fix Grants are small grants of up to $300 for individuals and up to $600 for groups to cover short-term service projects that could not be anticipated far enough in advance to request SOFC funding. - Intro to Finance and Goldman Sachs Recruiting 101 Presented by GS alums: Session I | 12:30-2:00 PM | PNE 239 – Interested in Finance and Goldman Sachs (GS)? Come and meet with alums from Goldman Sachs. They will be presenting an intro to finance workshop, as well as talking about application and recruiting at GS. Business casual attire required. - Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Info Session | 6:00-7:00 PM | PNE 239 – This information session will describe the multiple career tracks and internships available at the CIA as well as the lengthy application and security clearance process. - Department of Health and Human Services Info Session | 4:30-6:00 PM | PNE 139 – The Office of Business Management and Transformation is a boutique consulting office that serves the Department of Health and Human Services and specializes in analytic decision making support, innovation and change management. We’re hosting an informational meeting on campus targeted towards undergraduates who are interested in careers in consulting and health policy. RSVP on MyCWS.
- Truman Scholarship Info Session | 4:30-5:30 PM | GRH 442 – The Truman Scholarship recognizes outstanding young leaders in their junior year of college who are committed to a career in public service. The award seeks candidates with a strong and active record of service, evidence of leadership, and an academic record that supports their professional goals. Truman Scholars receive $30,000 towards graduate study and are inducted into a community of past Truman recipients that includes policymakers, activists, NGO leaders, academics and social entrepreneurs.
