Monday, October 21 –
- LSAC Boston Law School Forum | 9:00 am-4:00 pm | Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel – Law School Forums are held in cities throughout the United States to give prospective law students an opportunity to talk personally with representatives from ABA-approved law schools. If you are thinking about law school, Law School Forums are an excellent resource for you. Most people spend from several hours up to an entire day at a forum. This event is FREE to attend! Tuesday, October 22 –
- Grad School Tuesdays | 12:15 pm-1:30 pm | Wang Campus Center, 2nd floor – The CWS will offer graduate school drop-ins on Tuesdays from 12:15-1:30pm on the second floor of the Wang Campus Center, east Entrance, on Tuesdays during the fall semester when classes are in session. In addition, up to two graduate schools may be visiting campus and will have a drop-in table next to the CWS counselor. Make sure to check MyCWS for the most up-to-date listing of which graduate schools are attending.
- CWS First Year Workshop | 12:30 pm-1:30 pm | Academic Council Room (4th floor, Green Hall) – PRIOR REGISTRATION REQUIRED! Come learn about resources and opportunities available for First Years through the Center for Work and Service. We will be discussing topics such as resumes, cover letters, internship applications, interviews, CWS programs/events and more! There’s still a few spots available — RSVP now!
Wednesday, October 23 –
- Columbia Law School Info Session | 12:30 pm-1:20 pm | Green Hall 442 (CWS library) – Join Jill Nussbaum, assistant director of admissions, to discuss law school generally, with a particular focus on applying to Columbia University School of Law. Please RSVP on MyCWS.
- CWS First Year Workshop | 4:30 pm-5:30 pm | Green Hall 442 (CWS library) – PRIOR REGISTRATION REQUIRED! Come learn about resources and opportunities available for First Years through the Center for Work and Service. We will be discussing topics such as resumes, cover letters, internship applications, interviews, CWS programs/events and more! There’s still a few spots available — RSVP now!
- JPMorgan Chase Info Session | 6:30pm-7:30 pm | PNW 212 – Meet our people. Get to know us. This is your chance to discover what a career at J.P. Morgan is all about. This event is for students interested in full-time and summer opportunities in Operations, Finance, and Technology. Please RSVP on MyCWS.
- CWS Twitter Chat | 7:00 pm-8:00 pm | Online – In honor of LGBT History Month, the CWS will be running a second Twitter chat in October. This week’s chat will discuss important LGBTQ issues as it relates to the job search and career. Please use #AskCWS to be part of the conversation!
Thursday, October 24 –
- Biomedical Virtual Grad Fair | 8:00 am-5:00 pm | Online – Register now to attend the FREE Biomed Virtual Grad School Fair on Thursday, October 24. This virtual event allows you to have your admissions questions answered by representatives from 35 institutions. Open to all Wellesley College students and alumnae. - Year of Service – Panel | 6:30 pm-8:00 pm | PNE 239 – Come learn about your options for a year dedicated to service after graduation! Alums will be coming to talk about their experiences with various AmeriCorps programs like VISTA and City Year. Hear about the valuable experiences you can gain, the difference you can make, and the incredible year you can have with these programs! Please RSVP on MyCWS.
- Technical Interview Teach In: the KEY to an internship on WALL STREET | 7:00 pm-8:30 pm | PNE 349 – Alums with years of experiences in investment banking are coming back on campus to teach you how to best prepare for technical questions!
