- Law Professor: Deborah Widiss Q&A session about Law School | 4:30-5:30 PM | PNE 239 – If you are considering law school, the Center for Work and Service invites you to meet Professor Deborah Widiss from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Come learn about the Law School experience from a professor’s perspective.

- Working in the US for F-1 International Students | 4:30-6:00 PM | Library Lecture Room – An information session for F-1 international students. Can international students do internships in the US? What are CPT and OPT? Are there employment opportunities for international students in the US after graduation? Pizza will be served!

Wednesday, November 5 –
- Lumpkin Summer Institute 2014 Information Session | 12:30-1:30 PM | PNE 239 – Designed for sophomores with a commitment to service, the Lumpkin Summer Institute for Service Learning challenges students to explore and participate in social change in the Greater Boston Area. During the 10-week program, students reside together in Boston while undertaking full-time internships with local not-for-profit organizations. Led by Wellesley College faculty, staff, and not-for-profit practitioners, a weekly seminar integrating experiential and traditional classroom learning benefits not only the Wellesley interns, but also the communities in which they serve. - Yale Law School Webinar | 3:00-4:00 PM | Online – Please join the Yale Law School Admissions Office for a video webinar with other prospective law school applicants from Boston University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Tufts University, the University of Rhode Island, Wellesley College, and Yeshiva University. Craig Janecek, Director of Admissions, will be on hand to answer your questions about legal education, the application process, and life at Yale Law School. Thursday, November 6 –
- First Year Workshop | 12:30-1:30 PM | GRH 428 – Learn about the CWS resources pertaining to your first year and beyond! Please RSVP in order to participate. Please also bring your laptop to the event as we will provide hands-on tips on navigating CWS resources online.
- Graduate Study in the UK (University of Edinburgh) | 12:30-1:30 PM | PNE 251 – Tom McGlew, of the University of Edinburgh, will be available on Thursday, November 6, from 12:30 to 1:30 to discuss opportunities for graduate study in Great Britain. He will explain how the current structures of graduate work in Britain have evolved in recent years, the difference between taught and research-focused master’s degree programs, what British universities look for in American applicants, the length of time needed to complete a degree, costs of graduate study in Britain, financial aid possibilities, and choosing the program that is right for you. In addition, he will discuss graduate study specifically at the University of Edinburgh, which is currently ranked among the top twenty universities in the world, and answer questions both about Edinburgh and the British system generally. - Speed Networking and Panel with the Business Leadership Council (BLC) | 3:00-5:00 PM | Tishman Commons – Come join members of the Wellesley Business Leadership Council (BLC) for a special event focused around networking. This Program will include a panel that will focus on the value, necessity and how-to of mentoring after which will be a live speed networking event where students can experience the power of mentoring by engaging with a broad spectrum of successful Wellesley Alumnae who are part of the BLC. The BLC will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary of their founding that weekend and are excited to share their knowledge, skills and advice with you! Please bring your resume to the event! RSVPs are mandatory to attend this event and space is limited. Please note this is a two-hour event. Business casual attire required.
- Business School Panel Presented by Harvard, Yale, and Wharton | 6:00-8:00 PM | PNW 212 – Come meet senior admissions representatives from the Harvard Business School, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Yale School of Management.
