Kia ora everyone! A few days ago, I discovered the most beautiful public park just up the hill from my dormitory here in Auckland, New Zealand. The tree and flower species are incredibly diverse and for some reason, everything seems much more saturated than in the states. It feels like the eyes I used as a child to fall in love with everything around me have returned! The bird songs that flow from the trees are beautifully composed and the sunlight trickles through the leaves, leaving golden spots on my skin. I’m so amazed by the life I have seen so far and I can’t wait to see what I come across next.
