I cannot be at my sit spot this week, but I had the privilege of visiting Paraty, a city within Rio de Janeiro. Truly a paradise with lovely nature and a diversity of islands and beaches. We were able to visit a total of five islands. The water was blue and clear, clear enough to see fish. It’s always been a dream of mine to visit a clear beach because it feels like a sign of a healthy beach. The water was highly salty with schools of fish. I felt truly a part of the community as I swam underwater alongside the fish.
