你好！I’m Bernice Sun, a Media Arts & Sciences and Chinese double major at Wellesley College and the 2023 Ted Wang Fellow in Taiwan. Right now, I’m in my junior year and the semester has just started at National Taiwan University (NTU), where I am studying abroad! Although I’m in the Chinese Literature Department here, I’m also exploring other disciplines like international business, information management, and history! Life is definitely busy now that classes have begun, but I’m looking forward to the next 6 months here in Taipei.

First time at NTU, my school for the next few months!

While I’ve been here for the past 2 weeks, I’ve been exploring Taipei a bit and am definitely eating lots of good food 😛 It’s different living in the middle of a buzzing city, especially compared to life at Wellesley. Hopefully, throughout my travels, I can include many photos for you all to see!

My hobbies include dance, cooking, fashion, drawing, singing, movies… there’s quite a lot. I’m thinking of joining a dance club here or at least taking some classes at a local dance studio during my time here.

For my future career, I’m interested in becoming a UI/UX or product designer, so I’m hoping to find some interviewees in that field! However, I’ll also be interviewing people generally about the experience of working abroad, which is something I myself am interested in. Some of my interviews will be a collaboration with my fellow Ted Wang Fellow and twin sister Audrey! Hope you all can look forward to it~
