Sexual misconduct in the field

Kate Clancy, continuing a series on sexual harassment and anthropological fieldwork has an important post up on her Scientific American site. Exploitation of power is very common in grad school settings, where graduate students often have no positive options available to them when bad things happen. Being in the field, where convention dictates that normal social rules are altered, often doesn’t make those dynamics better. (h/t to John Hawks)
