Weekend wag the dog: 4/14/12

Clifford is taking a break from this week’s edition since I am in Portland for the AAPA meetings. Here is the view from my floor:

I am leaving the meetings early today, but they have been nice meetings. I wanted to do more live updates from sessions, but the session rooms were in the basement and had poor wi-fi coverage. That said, every session I attended (mainly hominid evolution sessions) were extremely well attended. I will have more thoughts on some of the presentations later.

My research focuses on the pattern of evolutionary change in humans over the past two million years, with an emphasis on the early evolution and dispersal of our genus, Homo. My work spans a number of areas including comparative anatomy, genetics and demography.
