Katie Topp, an undergraduate student at the University of Rhode Island, paraphrasing her teacher, Holly Dunsworth. Holly got funding to get her entire class genotyping services through 23andme, and her students are blogging the experience at DNAnonymous. I will definitely be following their progress with interest in preparation for my own course next Spring on a similar topic.

I am biological anthropologist with a specialization in paleoanthropology. My research focuses on the pattern of evolutionary change in humans over the past two million years, with an emphasis on the early evolution and dispersal of our genus, Homo. My work spans a number of areas including comparative anatomy, genetics and demography.
