Hello! I hope you all had a good Columbus Weekend! I know I did:) I went home and watched my high school soccer team win their annual tournament for the first time since 2004. I’m very proud of them:)
This weekend is another fun event for me, but this time I get to take part in the action. Saturday will be my first home cross country meet at Wellesley. It’s the 7 Sisters Meet. The colleges that are part of the 7 Sisters are Barnard College, Bryn Mawr College, Mount Holyoke College, Radcliffe College, Smith College, Vassar College, and WELLESLEY COLLEGE <3 I actually do not know if they are all coming to Wellesley to compete in this meet because its so far but I suppose I will find out and report back next week:)
I’m very excited about the weekend! We’ve been told to wear lots of Wellesley Blue around campus to get amped. This Friday we’re also going out to eat at a nice pizza place together. I can’t wait to compete on a familiar course. And let’s face it… I’m looking forward to not being on a bus all day!
After the race, there’s a nice luncheon for the teams and there will be an awards ceremony. And when the festivities are over I’ll already be home! Hahaha:) I can’t wait to post pictures and video for this coming meet. Stay tuned!
