Scholarships
- The Fulbright Canada Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Award is a new initiative of the Foundation for Educational Exchange between Canada and the United States of America (Fulbright Canada), in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada and six of Canada’s leading research universities. The STEM award, which is a three year award valued at some $120,000 (tuition, fees, and an annual stipend of $20,000), is the counterpart to Fulbright’s International Science and Technology award for foreign students coming to the United States. The Fulbright Canada STEM Award will offer an opportunity for a select group of U.S. students to pursue their PhD in Canada. They will study, conduct research, and be inspired in a technologically-advanced, diverse, and dynamic country. Applicants must be citizens of the United States of America. The application deadline is December 17, 2012. Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree before August 1, 2013 and must be proficient in English and/or French.
- A Microsoft scholarship provides a leg up so you can pursue undergraduate studies in computer science and related technical disciplines. You’ll join a community of scholarship recipients from the United States, Canada and Mexico who share your passion for technology and academic excellence. It all adds up to achieving your primary goal—making a real difference in the software industry. Microsoft is offering four different types of technical scholarships for the 2013-2014 academic year to current undergraduate students: General Scholarships, Women’s Scholarships, Minority Scholarships, and Scholarships for Students with Disabilities. Deadline to apply is February 1, 2013.

Graduates have gone on to faculty and post-doctoral positions at top academic institutions and throughout the biomedical research industry. More information regarding the NIH-Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program can be found here. Deadline to apply for the Fall 2013 start date is January 2, 2013.

Deadline to apply is March 4, 2013.
- The 2013 Florida State Law Summer for Undergraduates Program will take place May 20 through June 13, 2013. Our Program is the largest of its kind and has become a model for other law schools nationally. College students enrolled at two-and four-year institutions, in all majors and from all backgrounds, are invited to apply following their freshman year. We particularly welcome students from groups historically underrepresented in the legal profession. Because one purpose of the program is to help students direct their remaining time in college to best prepare for law school, freshmen, sophomores and juniors are given preference in the admissions process. There is no tuition or room and board charge for this program. Deadline to apply is March 29, 2013.
