CWS calendar week of 11/19

This week is a short week at Wellesley due to the Thanksgiving holiday so we have included two weeks worth of upcoming events and deadlines. These listings and more can be found in MyCWS.

Monday, November 19 –

  • MIT Sloan School of Management Master of Finance Information Session | 12:30 pm | PNE 239 – Learn about MIT Sloan’s rigorous one-year Master of Finance Program and the exceptional hands-on, real-world opportunities that will prepare you to advance your career in finance.

Tuesday, November 20 and Wednesday, November 21 –

  • There will be no drop-in hours on Tuesday and Wednesday, but previously scheduled counseling appointments are still available.

Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23 –

  • The CWS will be closed on Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no counseling or drop-in appointments.

Tuesday, November 27 –

  • How to Find an Internship Workshop | 7:30 pm | Register on MyCWS – Learn the different programs and internships you can find through the CWS! Space is limited to 20 students.

Wednesday, November 28 –

  • Goldman Sachs Information Session | 6:00 pm | Register on MyCWS – This presentation will provide you with information about Goldman Sachs and summer internship opportunities.
  • W Network 101 Workshop | 7:30 pm | Register on MyCWS Want to learn about the W Network? Want to learn how to talk to alums and make connections? Come learn the basics of using the W Network! Space is limited to 20 students.

Thursday, November 29 –

  • Resume Basics Workshop | 7:30 pm | Register on MyCWS Have questions about your resume? Format, Content, Selectivity? Learn how to write and edit your resume! Space is limited to 20 students.

Friday, November 30 –

  • Go Red™ Multicultural Scholarship Fund Application Deadline | 11:00 pm | Apply Today – Apply today to receive a $2,500 scholarship toward a career in healthcare. The Go Red Multicultural Scholarship aims to address important gaps in treatment by increasing diversity in the medical field and ensuring all Americans have an opportunity to work with their healthcare providers to make the best choices that lead to good health.
