Through a connection with an alumna involved in Cru-Wellesley, I had the pleasure of sharing dinner at a lovely Italian restaurant. As we conversed, I discovered that she currently works as an English teacher at a high school affiliated with mine as a sister school. It was a serendipitous realization that sparked intriguing conversations about our shared educational backgrounds. Hearing about her experiences as an educator in an international school provided me with valuable insights into a career path that I’ve long considered. Getting a glimpse into the dynamic world of teaching abroad affirmed that it’s an option I’ve always kept in the back of my mind, igniting a sense of curiosity and possibility for the future.
