About Me
My name is Lea Warshaw and I am from Miami, Florida. I have a variety of interests such as Art History, Literature, Dance, and Photography. My major is still undecided, but I am thinking about majoring in Computer Science. I am excited to be taking Product Creation for All because no matter what field I end up working in, I know the information and processes I learn in this class will always be applicable. In addition to seeing my designs come to life, I am eager to improve my brainstorming skills and creativity.
My Kindle
I mentioned above that I’m interested in literature and reading, so it only makes sense that I bring my Kindle everywhere I go. It has plenty of practical features such as: a built-in bookstore, digital bookmarks, varying font size and face, backlighting (on some models), a simple on/off switch, and a minimalistic, sleek design. All of these amenities make it easy for me to read on the go; however, there are also some drawbacks. When the Kindle shuts off, the screen displays advertisements rather than completely closing down the interface. Not only are the advertisements annoying, but they also make for a short battery life. If I could improve the Kindle I would eliminate advertisements entirely, or find a more conscious way of displaying them.
