Prior to learning Arduino, I had been only exposed to VPython (for physics lab), and a minimal amount of HTML (thanks Tumblr), so while I knew it was going to be challenging, I was very excited to learn a new language, especially one that can be used on a free software. The combination of having to learn a new programming language, and create more and more challenging breadboard circuits was very interesting and challenging. My first dip into Arduino was to create a circuit of blinking LEDs that would blink in a unique pattern.
