Hi Everyone! I’m Julia, a sophomore from Gardiner, Maine. I have a younger sister who’s a freshman in high school and a cat who likes to sleep with his head in his food dish. More fun facts: I row, I love giraffes, and I’m a Capricorn. I’ve always enjoyed my math and science classes and have been interested in learning more about engineering for a while, but have yet to take an engineering class. During this semester I hope to develop a better understanding of what engineers do, while developing the skills I need to take engineering classes at either Olin or MIT in the future.

Maine is great! I loved growing up there. There’s a lot of great hiking and camping spots if that’s something you like to do.
