We are currently making the fingerless glove out a stretchy-spandexy bright purple fabric. Coincidentally, the fabric is similar to the type of material we envisioned for the glove. We are planning on forming the two velcro straps out of tape that is taped together to form a stiffer type of binding.
We have already run into problems forming the fingers of the ‘glove’ because there is a lot of excess fabric, forming a kind of ‘ghost’ around the hand. Using cutting edge technology such as tape and staples, I think our sketch model will be able to at least represent what we want in our feathering grip aid.
