Microsoft released IE11 through Windows Automatic Updates yesterday, but Cisco NAC does not currently recognize it, so upgraded computers will fail at login due to “Windows Critical Updates.”
We’ve blocked IE 11 from updating on College-owned computers, but personally-owned computers will still get this update through a prompt or automatic updates. To remove IE 11, go to Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > View Installed Updates, select Internet Explorer 11, then click Uninstall at the top. If you need assistance, please contact the Computing Help Desk (see below).
We will post an update when Cisco NAC is compatible with IE11.
