Hackers, spammers, and phishers don’t take time off during the holidays. Please remember…
- Emails from a known account may be faking the email address or may have been sent from a compromised account.
- A legitimate-looking account may send emails with a link to a website phishing for account information.
- We will never ask you to provide your passwords.
- If you think you’ve fallen for a scam, immediately change your domain password at reset.wellesley.edu.
- If an email looks suspicious, contact the Help Desk (x3333, helpdesk@wellesley.edu); staff will check voicemail/email periodically.
- Above all, trust your instincts!
When there is a widespread outbreak of phishing, we’ll update the “Catch of the Day” corner of the LTS home page:
Wishing you a happy, healthy, and relaxing break!
