1/21/23 11:00PM – 2:00AM Critical Server Maintenance

On 12/25/2022 the College’s network experienced a major issue that brought down our College network as well as several other services that run on servers connected to the campus network. Our network engineers were here for several hours to bring everything back up. Subsequently, our network vendor, Cisco, informed us that this outage was the result of a bug in their system that needs to be corrected immediately to avoid facing a similar situation. We therefore must apply the fixes before classes start.

We will be performing updates to our network to fix the bugs that have been identified. This requires all network access to be unavailable and we will be doing this work on Saturday night from 11 PM to Sunday 2 AM where you will not have access to any on campus network services.
