LTS staff will be unavailable on Thursday, June 19th and Friday, July 4th for the Juneteenth and Independence Day holidays observed by the College.
- Library services desks in Art, Music, and Mods will not be staffed. Faculty and staff will have swipe access from 7am to 10pm.
- Special Collections and Archives will be closed.
- LTS Help Desk and Registrar’s Office will also be closed and we will not be able to respond to the emails sent to the ticketing systems until the next business day.
- In case of any major issues such as a network or service outage, please call the Campus Police to report. They will call the appropriate LTS staff to help diagnose and correct the issue.
LTS Support – Summer 2025 Timeline
Ending June 27, 2025
- LTS In-Person Support in the Mods: This service will conclude.
- Makerspace in the Mods: The Makerspace will operate in the Mods until this date.
- Makerspace Equipment Loans: These loans will cease.
Beginning June 30, 2025
- Computing Help Desk (Virtual Only): From June 30 to August 15, the Help Desk will operate virtually.
- Contact: Phone (781-283-3333) or email helpdesk@wellesley.edu to open a ticket.
- Appointments: Staff can meet by appointment at a mutually convenient location.
- Clapp Library Service Desk (Virtual Only): From June 30 to August 15, the Service Desk (currently in the Mods) will operate virtually.
- Contact: Email askus@wellesley.edu to open a ticket.
- Equipment Checkout (Unavailable): This service will not be available from June 30 to August 15.
- Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Physical Items (Unavailable): Borrowing of physical ILL items will not be available from June 30 to August 15.
- Electronic ILL: Authorized users can still access electronic ILL for chapters, articles, and ebooks when available.
- Action Required: If you need physical ILL items this summer, please request them by June 20th to ensure delivery.
Closed for the Summer
- Makerspace: Closed from June 30 to September 2.
- Book Arts Lab: Closed for the summer.
- Wellesley College Archives and Special Collections: Closed for the summer.
