We wrote to you earlier that you should start using OpenVPN and not Cisco AnyConnect. Our SSL certificate expires on November 29th (previously we shared Dec 1). Therefore, AnyConnect will not be available after November 29th, so make this switch asap. Here is how to do it:
- The next time you need to connect to the campus network from off campus, visit https://wellesley.openvpn.com
- The system will automatically detect that you do not have the new software and will guide you through the process of installing and setting up the OpenVPN client on your device. For macOS, choose Apple Silicon unless your computer is over five years old. [Allow for a few minutes for the installation]
- Depending on your type of device, you may be asked,
- To enter in your username (include @wellesely.edu)
- To enter in a server address or cloud ID, enter in https://wellesley.openvpn.com
