Several network interruptions that we experienced during the last 9 months have been attributed to our current firewall and we have acquired a new firewall to replace it. Firewall is an important device that is essential for the integrity of our network. We will be installing the new firewall on Tuesday, July 12th from 9 PM – 10 PM. If for some reason this window needs to be extended, we will update the service alert.
Regardless of whether you are on campus or off campus, it is better to assume that access to all services will be unavailable during this time. If you are off campus and do not need to reauthenticate to certain services such as Google or Workday, you may be able to access them.
