7/18 “@firstclass” addresses going away; update mailing lists

If you’ve accidentally used an old @firstclass.wellesley.edu address, you’ll be happy to know these addresses will be removed from the directory on Thurs. 7/18. This will only be an issue if you have the firstclass address of someone in a contact group (mailing list).

In Contacts, go to each of your contact groups/mailing lists (listed directly below My Contacts) and check for any @firstclass.wellesley.edu addresses. For example:

firstclassemail

If the person also has a @wellesley.edu address listed, your mailing list will still work. If any contacts only have a firstclass address in the mailing list, it should be updated to an @wellesley.edu address. Firstclass addresses should be deleted from mailing lists or you will receive a “failure to deliver” notification when you use the list.

If you have any questions, please contact the Computing Help Desk.
