2/24 Serious phishing scam, deleted emails

The recent phishing scam has gotten more serious — one user had Gmail messages deleted, so please, take note. If you get an email from a Wellesley community member asking you to click on a Google Doc link, be suspicious, and mouse-over the link to check its location first. An actual Wellesley Google doc will have an address that looks like this:

https://docs.google.com/a/wellesley.edu/…
https://drive.google.com/a/wellesley.edu/…

If isn’t a legitimate link, click the down arrow in the upper right corner of the message, and choose Report phishing. Do NOT click on  document link.

If you do click the document link and realize that it’s a scam, go IMMEDIATELY to https://reset.wellesley.edu and reset your password. If that doesn’t work, email helpdesk@wellesley.edu to request assistance.
