1/8 4pm Banner & MyWellesley available

Banner and MyWellesley are up, but we have turned off a handful of background services that update data to isolate the issue. There is an outside possibility we may see additional issues, but systems look stable currently. Thank you for your patience, we know how serious these outages are to the community.

2:15pm We are talking with our vendors to identify the problem. We are sending diagnostic files to our vendors when the servers are available and before the database crashes and the system locks up. Even if systems are up, we may be turning off some services in order to figure out where the problem is occurring. We know this is frustrating and hope to have the cause isolated soon.

Noon Both services are available again. Apologies for the interruption, we are looking into the underlying cause.

11:15am We need to take MyWellesley down to bring Banner back up, we expect both services (and everything else that relies on them) to be back by noon.

10am We’re looking into the problem — Banner Self-Service, ERP, and any services that rely on Banner are unavailable.
