Several faculty and staff members with PCs have reported their computer freezing during daily Microsoft virus scanning (usually around lunchtime). We believe it is a “false positive” conflict with Malwarebytes and not a cause for alarm, but is obviously a disruption.
The PC will unfreeze in a few minutes or you can restart the computer, but for a permanent solution, please contact the Help Desk and a staff member will perform an update remotely that will fix the issue.
