On Thurs. April 5, 7-7:30am, a CrashPlan client upgrade will be pushed to College-owned computers with CrashPlan. The next time your computer connects to the network, your CrashPlan application will automatically upgrade to the latest version, 6.5.2. This will happen in the background, and no action is required on your part. While the client on your computer upgrades, backups will briefly pause and will be inaccessible. After the new client is installed, backups will immediately resume.
The CrashPlan icon will change slightly. 
The look and feel of the new version will be somewhat different, but the functionality will be the same.
