Thursday 7/21 9-9:30am – SPSS may be unavailable during required upgrade to v28

The previously announced move to SPSS version 28 will be done 9-9:30am on Thursday 7/21. During that time you may be unable to launch SPSS and may be kicked out of SPSS entirely. Please save any work before that time.

After the upgrade, earlier versions of SPSS will no longer work, and you will need to upgrade to SPSS v28.

Instructions currently include v. 28 installation up to the point where it needs to be licensed. You are welcome to install it now, if you haven’t already, in preparation for the upgrade tomorrow from https://www.wellesley.edu/lts/techsupport/software/spss

If your SPSS v28 does not work after 9:30am Thursday, please check for a follow-up announcement, then try restarting your computer (and reconnecting to the VPN, if off campus). If that does not resolve the issue, please contact the Help Desk at x3333 (faculty/staff) or x7777 (students) with any errors and steps you’ve tried to resolve the issue.
