Zoom clients on all their devices must be updated to version 5.13.5 or higher by 11/04/23.

Zoom will require that all users have updated their version of the Zoom client software on their computers and mobile phones by November 4th.  And if you don’t, you will not be able to join a meeting until you do. Please note that Zoom Client is different from the Zoom web portal on your browser. It is a software installed on your computers or phones. For details regarding the client software review this – LTS Zoom Install and Sign In page

Follow instructions provided here – update your Zoom client as soon as you can.  Not sure what version you’re using?  You can check your current version here.

To stay up to date you can also enable auto-updates from the Zoom application’s settings in the General tab. We strongly encourage you to turn on auto update to avoid having to remember to update the software.

Fall Break Library Hours and LTS Support on Monday October 9th, Indigenous Peoples’ Day

The Wellesley College Libraries will have reduced hours over the weekend of Fall Break (October 6-9). Please see the Hours page for details. Faculty can swipe into the libraries from 7am-10pm daily. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, October 10.

Additionally, LTS staff will be unavailable on Monday, October 9th, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, a holiday that the College observes. 

  • Clapp Library and the Art and Music Libraries will be open from 11am to 9pm on October 9. Student employees of LTS will be present during these hours to provide limited support.
  • Special Collections and Archives will be closed.
  • LTS Help Desk and Registrar’s Office will also be closed and we will not be able to respond to emails until Tuesday, October 10th.
  • In case of any major issues such as a network or service outage, please call the Campus Police to report. They will call the appropriate LTS staff to help diagnose and correct the issue. 
  • LTS services will resume as normal on Tuesday, October 10.

Urgent – Please update all your Apple Devices

Apple has identified a critical security issue in the operating systems (OS) of all of its devices  – Mac laptops, desktops, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Apple TV and others. We strongly advise you to update the operating system in all of your Apple devices, both college provided and personal, as soon as possible to avoid being affected by this serious issue.

Please consult Apple’s resource page for instructions on how to upgrade your device and how to verify that after the upgrade what the version of operating system should be. If you have turned on automatic updates, verify that your current version of OS is what is listed on this page.

Interlibrary Loan login error due to Zotero extension

You may receive an error when attempting to log in to your Interlibrary Loan (ILL) account if you have installed the Zotero browser extension. Please see the “Trouble Logging in” section of the ILL library guide for instructions on how to edit your extension to fix the issue.

8/22 Library e-journal links in Library Catalog unavailable

Records for individual electronic journals to which the Library subscribes have been erroneously deleted from the Library Catalog.  We are working with our vendor to restore these records as quickly as possible.  In the meantime, you can find electronic journals by title via Publication Finder, linked from the LTS homepage.
